Origin Falls was conceived in the spring of 1995 during a trip to Yosemite National Park. Inspired by the natural beauty of the environment with its’ many natural waterfalls the Founder, upon returning to his Boston Massachusetts studio, began to develop a design for an “indoor waterfall” for his home- a concept vaguely known or appreciated at that time. The waterfall was a simple granite monolith anchored to a stainless steel base designed to allow water to flow from a center core in the granite. This idea for the indoor waterfall eventually led to the creation and incorporation of Origin Falls in 1999.
Today, Origin Falls is devoted to the design and manufacture of the finest indoor waterfalls available. Our direct sales approach allows us to employ better materials and first quality mechanical equipment in our designs. As a result, we are able to provide a better overall value to our customers. Quality materials such as Wilsonart ® solid surfacing, stainless steel, tempered low-iron glass, variable-speed asynchronous pumps, reverse osmosis, pure water ozone infection control™, and automated purge systems do cost more; however, we believe that the value of a well-built product always becomes evident over time. Equally important to quality materials is skilled craftsmanship and thoughtful detailing. When you commission or purchase a custom indoor waterfall direct from Origin Falls, you can expect that our exacting standards will be consistent throughout the waterfall assembly along with workmanship and customer service that strives to exceed expectation.
Indoor waterfalls that sound as good as they look
An indoor waterfall that sounds as good as it looks is not easily achieved. We have taken acoustical cues from natures’ waterfalls to produce the most pleasant and natural sounding indoor waterfalls. Our patented method of water capture was developed by analyzing the nuances of water moving over a stream bed and then re-creating that natural sound in a built environment. Every waterfall we build includes our proprietary acoustic chamber as a vital component and our commitment to a higher standard.
